Engagement Grants 2026-27

$25,000 for schools, professors and student groups that bring more students into spreadsheet skills, through campus competitions, faculty workshops, student clubs and team travel.

Up to $10,000 for travel to in-person competitions before December 31. Decisions by November 4.

Decisions by December 18. Funded activities take place January through June 2027.

What we fund

A. Host a competition or event

A regional round, invitational, case competition or modeling challenge on your campus. Typical request $2,500 to $5,000.

B. A faculty workshop day

An experienced spreadsheet educator visits your campus. We cover the visitor's travel; presenters are not paid a fee.

C. Start or sustain a student club

Club registration, club events and practice materials. Usually a few hundred dollars.

D. Team travel Early deadline

Transportation and lodging for a team and one advisor travelling to an in-person competition before December 31. Typically $1,000 to $3,000 per team.

Our commitment on independence. Grants are not tied to any competition, organizer, platform or company. Grants are paid to the institution, never to individuals or to competition organizers. Team travel covers transportation and lodging only; entry fees, tickets and meals are not eligible.
